The Committee on Health and Human Resources moved to amend the bill on page 1, by striking everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ARTICLE 5. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS.

§9-5-31. Medicaid program; Buy-in plan.

By July 1, 2024, the Bureau of Medical Services shall apply to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for a Basic Health Plan Option under Section 1331 and/or a State Innovation Waiver under Section 1332 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The department shall maximize all available federal dollars the waiver.”
